[FF Beat]

I do believe this would be the regular battle theme from Final Fantasy 7. It's been awhile since I've played the game or listened to any of the music, though, so I might be a little off on that.

Gotta love Mystic Quest. Maybe not truly representative of the main Final Fantasy series, but a good intro into the genre.

I always thought of it as Final Fantasy on training wheels, although in some ways you have to be more careful because you are either by yourself, or have one ally to help you. That makes status changers like Poison, Stone, Confusion, etc. a lot more dangerous.

Ah, the very first Mega Man game! Those were the days, and this really brigs back the memories. Too bad the original NES version couldn't have sounded like this!

[FFMQ - Battle Royale]

For the amount of time I spent playing Mystic Quest, I'm surprised that I can't remember if this is the regular battle theme or the boss theme. Then again, I haven't played it in years because I had to sell it and a few others to a used game shop to pay off a bill.

This just makes me want to see if I can go find it someplace again.
