Gotta love it!

Those were the days, weren't they? I remember that as much with my Sega Master System as much as with the NES when I got that. Now we get the "Red Ring of Death" from the XBox, which could mean just about anything, from what I understand, and there's nothing a gamer can do to fix it on their own.

That was definatey a good show. People may pay more attention to SMBZ, but that may be due at least in part to hype. What you've got here is definately a good piece of flash, even if it doesn't get umpteen million views like other animations.

It's a matter of context

That was OK, but as with most school assignments that wind up here, it's that we don't really know the context of the assignment that ultimately hurts the animations. Other than that, nice work.

I'll give it a chance, anyway...

It seems like I've seen this particular idea tried a dozen times before in my years here at Newgrounds, and most have been pretty damned lame at best.

This one, however, looks like it might actually be pretty good, since it seems to follow the game pretty closely. Definately worth giving it a chance, anyway. Can't wait for more.

That was great! Sure, it was mostly jokes most of us have heard a million times already, but they're still funny because they're true and always will be. It was also nice to see a flash with a small file size and a quicker loading time. It was definately worth the simple characters and generally blank backgrounds for that, especially with all the substantially larger flashes I've seen do far worse than this recently.

Had this come out around the time the 8-Bit Theater flashes were being made, it might have stoond a chance. Unfortunately, the time for sprite flashes has really come and gone. A good idea, but done to death, I think.

Once again, points well made. You seem to know just what the hell it is you're doing with these things. I just wish I could say the same of more people who submit content to the site. Or at least that they could show a level of common sense relatively equal to my own and act like they know what their limits are. (Why I don't do flash or music for NG, BTW.)
