[Pokemon: A Man's Game]

We need more like this.

I think this had more to do with the fact that I was distracted by the fight sequence than anything, but the text in the animated/game portion seemed to go by a little quickly. Other than that, it's a great flash. It's an example of when live action in flash actually works, and I'd recommed it to anyone who's going to do something like it.

Nostalgia value

Lemmie tell ya, those were the days. Well, for you these *are* the days. This sure brings back the memories for me. I remember being on the campus paper for about a semester when I was in college. Too bad it didn't work out. 'Course, my whole damned degree pretty much went down the crapper. Then again, I *did* graduate, finally, and I *do* have the memories. It's a good idea

I like the idea, even if it's not particularly unique. I would recommend following the style of the 8-Bit Theater flashes in that they tend to use three or four strips to make a flash with, simply for the way the jokes are structured. This one looked like it cut off before it really got to the punchline, to be honest.

I quite enjoyed that. Newgrounds needs more flashes like this. As much as I like the mindless time killers that are more common here, it's good to see that there are some that actually make the viewer think, too! Can't wait for more.

Really only one problem.

An excellent flash movie, this is. Only one real problem, though. The tiny blue type used over that nice space scene when I was reading the setup. Other than that, finding a better animation would be hard.

I know it's none of my business...

It's just that I don't quite see the connection between posting an unfinished flash to Newgrounds and not getting into university. I suppose if it's the only way to get it to whomever needs to get it... Anyway, what there was, was good. The art and animation alone make it worth saving, although having the audio component in place would work wonders.
